Anna Buczek

Outreach and Communications Specialist

Anna Buczek is the Specialist, Communications at the Council of Canadian Academies

Anna has over six years of international event and communications experience. Prior to joining the Council of Canadian Academies, Anna was the Manager of External Relations with the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). While with the RSC, she successfully oversaw the organization’s events and external communications, which included the production and launch of expert panel reports. Anna has also previously worked for Public Works and Government Services Canada helping to coordinate the travelling exhibition Canada Pavilion which showcases Canada as a nation.

Anna holds her B.Sc. (Hon) in Biology and Psychology from Queen’s University with a post-graduate certificate in Event Management. She is fluently bilingual in English and French and also speaks Polish and Spanish.
