Joanne Linnay

Project Coordinator

Joanne Linnay is a Project Coordinator at the Council of Canadian Academies.

Prior to joining the CCA, Joanne obtained graduate degrees in Environmental Studies at Queen’s University, and Management, Organizational Behaviour, at Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. Her research interests are shaped by her extensive experience overseas, including international development in Zambia, and involve the intersection of organizations and inequality, environmental sustainability, and Indigenous issues. Her research projects have included an examination of social entrepreneurial organizations in Ontario, Aboriginal Canada, and South Africa. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science, International Relations, from Carleton University. She has also studied at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
