Dialogues on Innovation

In April 2009, the Council of Canadian Academies released the report, Innovation and Business Strategy: Why Canada Falls Short.  The report linked Canada's productivity problem to weak business innovation, enticing frank discussions among various stakeholders about what is needed for Canadian businesses to adopt innovation-based strategies. From August to December 2009 the Council presented the report’s findings across the country in a series of events known as the Dialogues on Innovation.

The Council of Canadian Academies would like to extend its warmest thanks to all those involved. While the formal discussion dialogue series has finished, the Council hopes that Canada’s conversation on adopting innovation-based business strategies will continue.

Participant organizations in the Dialogues on Innovation series are as follows:

Western

Prairies

Central
