Assistant Vice President, Research and Innovation, George Brown College (Toronto, ON)

Robert Luke is Assistant Vice President of Research and Innovation for George Brown College, where he works with industry and community partners to address business and social innovation.

Dr. Luke is also responsible for institutional research, including corporate planning and strategy, and educational quality measurement and improvement. Maintaining an active research program in participatory innovation design and the application of technologies in healthcare and education, Dr. Luke's current research investigates the role of students in applied research and of graduates with innovation literacy fostering innovation and productivity in firms. He is chair of the Polytechnics Canada Research Committee, and a member of the Advisory Group of the Toronto’s Vital Signs Report, produced annually by the Toronto Community Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Governors at George Brown College, and a member of the Programs and Quality Committee of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
