| The Council of Canadian Academies was asked by the Government of Canada to undertake an assessment on the modes of transmission of influenza and the contribution of respirators or surgical masks towards inhibiting the spread of the virus. Question: How and where is influenza (both seasonal and pandemic) transmitted?
